Welsh on the move! SSi launches brand-new app!

The new app is designed to be more robust, flexible, and user-friendly. Testing so far suggests that it will help many more people achieve conversational confidence.

The new app also includes a French course at no extra cost, and SaySomethingin plans to release new languages regularly in the coming months without increasing the cost to subscribers.

With Wales and the Welsh language being the heart and soul of everything we do, SaySomethingin aims to use the revenue from its new courses to significantly increase the resources it can provide Welsh learners. Additionally, we aim to offer our Welsh courses for learning in many other languages.

‘We want to be the Netflix of language learning’, says Oxford physicist Tom Cassidy, now SSi’s Head of Course Creation. ‘We’re using high-quality AI tools to produce the sentence database we need much more quickly than was possible before, and our ultimate aim is to produce a crowd-sourcing approach which will let us build a course for every language in the world.’
